Laura Hernandez, executive director of Multicultural
Marketing at AT&T, is responsible for the strategic
development of the AT&T brand and positioning of
AT&T products and services to the diverse markets
that the company serves. Through the creation of
products and the alignment of relevant marketing
messages, she and her team drive AT&T brand
preference among Hispanics, African Americans, and
Asian Americans.
During her eleven
years at AT&T, Hernandez has driven marketing and
advertising initiatives, including managing the
companies direct mail and online campaigns and
leading the day to day diversity marketing efforts
for products and services.
For close to 20
years, Hernandez has built her career in marketing
and public affairs through her work in the public
and private sector, including as Deputy Director
Latino Outreach for the Democratic National
Committee and at Bromley Communications of San
Antonio.
Hernandez, a San
Antonio-native, is an active member of her
community. She serves on various boards, including
the University Health System Foundation, Goodwill,
Seton Home and the Latino Smithsonian Center.
