Legislative GalaCLICK HERE for Sponsorship Opportunities Biennially the Texas Association of Mexican-American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) hosts a Legislative Awards Gala in honor of the Senate Hispanic Caucus and the Mexican American Legislative Caucus of the Texas State Legislature. It is at this time that TAMACC recognizes local, state and federal legislators for their outstanding leadership, legislative advocacy, and community involvement. In addition, TAMACC honors HUB coordinators for their outstanding outreach, advocacy and commitment to the HUB program. The Legislative Awards Gala is an event designed to allow TAMACC members and supporters of the Hispanic business community in Texas to gather at the state Capitol to discuss the salient issues that impact the Texas Hispanic community. After a full day of Legislative activity, TAMACC will host a gala to recognize members of the Texas House of Representatives Mexican American Legislative Caucus and the Texas Senate Hispanic Caucus for their support of the Hispanic business community in Texas. Representatives from all of our twenty-seven Hispanic chambers from across the state of Texas will be participating in this event. The Legislative Awards Gala will be held on the evening of
January 27, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel-Town Lake in Austin,
Texas. The event will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m. followed
by the awards dinner at 7:00 p.m.
