
12 Latina Leaders from Across Texas to be Honored
The Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) will honor twelve (12) outstanding leaders at the eighth annual Women of Distinction Awards luncheon Friday, June 17, 2022, at the Austin Southpark Hotel, 4140 Governor’s Row, Austin, Texas, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Jepsen and Silva Accepted to TAMACC’s New Fellowship Program
TAMACC is excited to announce the start of a new Fellowship Program. The first two individuals accepted into this inaugural program are Nataly Jepsen – Dallas, Texas, and Jose Silva – McAllen, Texas. Both graduated from Texas State University last week and started their fellowships at TAMACC prior to their graduation ceremonies.
COVID-19 in Hispanic and Minority Communities
Due to the high and disproportionate infections and mortality rate of COVID-19 among Hispanics, African Americans and other minorities, TAMACC hosted a webinar with Dr. Anthony Fauci to address these concerns. The webinar exceeded capacity. Over 1,000 Hispanic business owners, community leaders and elected officials from across Texas and from around the county registered to watch the webinar. Fauci’s presentation was informative and succinct.
