We are proud to launch this signature luncheon to honor the legacy of Master Sergeant Roy P. Benavidez, a true American hero whose life exemplified courage, sacrifice, and service. Born in Texas and raised in poverty, he overcame extraordinary hardship and went on to perform heroic actions in Vietnam, saving the lives of fellow soldiers despite severe injuries. For his bravery, he was awarded the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military distinction.

His story reminds us that greatness is defined not by circumstance, but by character.

This luncheon is more than an event—it is an investment in the next generation of leaders. Proceeds will fund scholarships for deserving students across Texas, ensuring no promising student is left behind.
