Memorandum Of Cooperation Partners

Every two years, TAMACC signs a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) Agreement with the following Texas State Agencies and Universities. This was an initiative created by TAMACC through the assistance of Senator Royce West. The joint agreements with these agencies along with the Texas Association of African American Chambers of Commerce (TAAACC) in 1999. J.R. Gonzales was the first TAMACC Chairman to sign on behalf of TAMACC.

February 2, 1999 was the first signing of a MOC between two state agencies, UT at Austin and TAMACC.

The purpose of the Memorandum of Cooperation Agreement is to create a relationship that will encourage and assist the development of participation by Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) in contracting opportunities within the State of Texas. TAMACC and the following Texas State Agencies and Universities agree to cooperate in the dissemination of information regarding purchasing procedures and procurement opportunities extended to HUB vendors in an attempt to increase the level of HUB contractual agreements. The last time the MOC Agreements were signed was March 30, 2017.
